This recipe makes A TON of pasta salad. It’s the perfect amount for a small get-together. If it is a side dish for your family dinner, consider halving it unless you want to have leftovers! I love this recipe as leftovers and will eat it for lunch for days.
Italian pasta salad ingredients
To make this recipe, you will need:
- 16oz rotini pasta
- 10oz salami, chopped
- 3 cups cherry tomatoes
- 2 cups bell peppers, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 8oz fresh mozzarella pearls
- 16 fl oz Italian dressing
- Salt and pepper to taste

how to make Italian pasta salad
STEP ONE: Cook pasta according to package. Drain pasta and run under cold water to cool. You can also spread pasta onto a baking sheet to cool.
STEP TWO: While pasta is cooling, chop salami, bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
STEP THREE: Add cooled pasta to a large bowl. Combine salami, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, mozzarella pearls, and Italian dressing with the pasta and stir until well mixed. Salt and pepper to taste.
STEP FOUR: Chill in refrigerator and serve.
