Air fryer sausage balls make the perfect appetizer to any gathering you might have this holiday season!
3 Ingredient Air Fryer Sausage Balls
Fair warning, these things are addictive and you will keep coming back to the serving tray for more.
Sausage balls are honestly one of the best and easiest appetizers you can offer to bring because they only require 3 ingredients and about 20 minutes of your time. Plus, I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t love this recipe.
I am sure that everyone has heard of sausage balls that are typically cooked in the oven, but air fryer sausage balls take the recipe to another level with only a SIX minute cook time.
All I use is 1lb of pork sausage (or turkey sausage), 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, and 2 cups of Bisquick from Sam’s Club! The longest part of this recipe is rolling the ingredients into a ball, but recruit the help of family at your holiday gathering and you’ll have it done twice as fast!
How to Make Air Fryer Sausage Balls
To make air fryer sausage balls you need to grab a large bowl and combine 1lb of pork or turkey sausage, 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, and 2 cups of Bisquick. Use your hands to mix and combine the Bisquick and shredded cheese evenly into the sausage.
I tried several different techniques to mix the ingredients together in case you didn’t want to use your hands, but hand mixing was by far the most effective way.
Grease the bottom of your air fryer with cooking spray and once the ingredients are evenly combined roll the sausage mixture into small balls about the diameter of a quarter. Space them evenly in the air fryer with about an inch of space in between each one and cook for 6 minutes at 370 degrees.
That is IT. The quickest and most delicious appetizer recipe ever. So simple that it will give you more time to celebrate the holidays with loved ones while still enjoying a delicious snack! Head to Sam’s Club for all your holiday stock up needs!!
