B is almost ten months old (be right back *crying*) and she’s really getting into eating big people food. She always wants what we have whether it’s food or our phones. This led to me eating healthier, because I don’t want my ten month old chewing on a snickers bar. It really is so much fun being able to eat together and let her try new foods.
As of right now her favorite foods are peaches and smoothies. Both of them she cries when they are gone, my girl likes to eat! When I first started this blog I shared a morning smoothie recipe that I had made and people seemed to really like it so I decided to throw together a different smoothie and share it with you guys!
Smoothies are awesome because…
- They can be stored in the fridge overnight which makes for a quick to-go breakfast
- They are extremely filling
- ….and are SO HEALTHY! What can beat that?
Here is my Banana Berry Smoothie recipe, approved by my cutest taste tester Baby B.

Ingredients:
2-3 cubes of ice
1/4 cup almond milk
3 tablespoons greek yogurt (I used honey vanilla flavored)
6-8 strawberries
1 whole banana
1/3 cup rasberries
1/3 cup blueberries
I simply put these ingredients into my Ninja blender in the order which I’ve typed them, blend, and enjoy!
Yummy, yummy, yummy! I’m not a huge fan of bananas in smoothies (I know, weird!) but berry smoothies are my favorite!
This recipe would be great without the banana too!
Our little one is almost 9 months old. She definitely wants everything we’re eating as well! This recipe looks great! I’ll have to try it out for the both of us!
I bet she will love it! 🙂
I love both smoothies and pancakes!! This banana berry smoothie looks great!!!
I’m a huge breakfast food fan 🙂
Umm…YUM! Those berries are calling my name! Can’t wait to try out the recipe!
It’s a great one 🙂
Yum! I love a good smoothie. This is similar to one of my favorite morning breakfast smoothies:)
I love to just throw things together and experiment with it!
Yummy recipes!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for reading!
I LOVE smoothies and berries. I’m going to try out this recipe this weekend!
I usually drink a smoothie everyday for the same reasons you listed. This one looks a lot like the ones I make, I just buy the frozen mixed berry bag though because we never go through raw fruit fast enough 🙂
We have the opposite problem, we go through fruit like crazy!
This sounds amazing! I love smoothies so I will definitely give this a try! http://www.littlemissfangirly.blogspot.com
I love smoothies but never take the time to make them! This inspired me! Thanks!
This is similar to what I make every morning – yum! I add peanut butter, too. I haven’t tried almond milk – good idea!
I love peanut butter! I’ll give that a try!
This looks delicious! My teenager is the smoothie expert in our house and I will definitely be passing this on to him 🙂
I hope you guys enjoy it!
